1. Complete at least three episodes a week. We've found that steady use gets the best results, and your students enjoy the consistency and reliability.

2. Encourage all learners to speak out loud when requested to do so in the program. A little yellow face (our "Speak Aloud" icon) indicates an activity where the learner is expected to say sounds, words, or sentences out loud.

3. Have your learners read all 80 Sprout Stories as they progress through the program. All Sprout Stories are printable as mini-books and full-page stories, and can be copied from duplication masters or purchased from Headsprout. The stories can be read directly from the blackline master, or even read on screen after the learner completes the corresponding episode. They can be read in a group activity, individually, or sent home to be read with parents.
